My first visit won’t be my last. You’re looking at the sampler platter that comes with one side, but we ordered a second. The meat was melt in your mouth, tender, juicy, and flavorful. One of the staff came up and engaged with us for a bit at the table and we thought that was a nice touch. I really liked the coleslaw. The fresh dill gave it a really nice taste. Great experience can’t wait to go back.

This is the BEST barbecue I have ever had. Hands down. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was great. They were extremely accommodating and made the night a really fun experience. We will DEFINITELY be back.

I’ve had my eye on this place for over a month now and I came here for the first time today. I got the platter for one, (brisket and side ribs) along with the beef rib. 5* 10/10. The food was phenomenal and the staff were friendly. I’d recommend coming in earlier rather than later as it’s possible they’ll sell out of some items considering how popular this place is. Definitely will become a local favourite spot of mine and well worth the price!

This review is specific to catering service, but I have eaten in the restaurant as well and have nothing but good things to say. Benny pulled out all the stops to support an event that I put on - he worked with me to develop a menu that met (and exceeded) my budget, and then personally delivered it to my venue and included some much-needed supplies to help make the night a success. I couldn't be happier with his service and the quality of the food that he provided! BBQ ribs were perfectly cooked and portioned well, the pulled pork was super popular and tasty, as were both the Mac-n-cheese and coleslaw sides. Rich flavours, easy to serve and enjoy. He provided a vegetarian option as well, plus extra sauces in takeaway containers. This was an excellent experience, and I would encourage you to reach out to Benny if you're thinking of running an event - it perfectly met my requirements!

Great experience at Benny BBQ. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was solid all around. The brisket was tender and well-cooked with a good smoky flavor. Mac and cheese was creamy and satisfying, and the cornbread had a nice sweetness without being too heavy. Everything was fresh and well-prepared—definitely a place worth checking out if you’re into BBQ.

This place is a neighborhood gem. If you were a fan of Adamson’s BBBQ in Leaside then you will be thrilled to know that Bennys is of that caliber and better. The brisket is memorable. Absolutely mouth watering, packed with flavor. Do not put any BBQ sauce on this. It’s a masterpiece and should be experienced for its natural flavor. The pulled pork is juicy and packed with flavor. Many places struggle to serve a really justice pulled pork. Not these guys. The sausage was good but not memorable. All sides were fantastic. Service was upbeat and friendly. Overall a fantastic experience. This is not far from where I live so I’m thrilled to say you can now have exceptional and authentic Texas BBQ in midtown Toronto. Worth a visit. Will be heading back to try their beef ribs which are only served on Saturdays. Enjoy.

We were second in line at 10:50am. Food was totally worth the wait and price. Love that we can get Texas bbq in Toronto! The brisket was our favorite with right amount of fat and tender lean meat. The ribs fell off the bone with a lighter taste. The wings were perfectly seasoned and cooked. My husband loved the sausage because it was full of flavour and very juicy. The three sides were potato salad, mac and cheese and coleslaw (which we fought over). There were only three of us and we ordered the platter for four with two orders of wings! Would definitely come back especially for brisket!

Funky laneway spot with picnic tables and very good BBQ. Had the sampler, two of us couldn't finish it all. Both the back ribs and side ribs have different rubs, my favourite were the back ribs. The shoulder was really really good. I was also really happy with the sides, made with care and flavour
